One act of kindness. In unison on the 25th. All faiths and people of good will coming together. Remember how good that feels for both of you?
What is WE CARE DAY besides a blunt statement of intent to focus on the needs of someone else on the 25th day of the month by every faith and person of good will as a statement of good will toward all peoples.
The 25th of each month is also a National Day of Prayer for Discernment — where we pray the veil of blindness will fall and all will know kindness toward each other is the path to follow.
Our nation is sick. Good is evil and evil is good and day after day another unpleasant thing is done in our name to harm someone. If you speak up like James Talarico, you are called a demon by leaders of big “Christian” churches where Many Are Going Astray. In contrast, when you open the door for someone in our t-shirt that says “The Kindness Movement begets kindness” — every person who asks you “What’s the kindness movement” is an opportunity to say join us.
Birds of a feather do indeed flock together and The Kindness Movement helps you and your flock come together. Like attracts like. When you attend a non-hosted event and you ask “Are you here for The Kindness Movement?” — “What is that?” Opens doors of communication. Those not interested, tell you so, but you’ve planted a seed.
The more people who say kindness and helping others feels good, exposes without saying what feels bad through contrast.
Hate doesn’t feel good. Helping someone does.
This is the mission of The Kindness Movement and why all faiths and people of good will can offer an alternative viewpoint to the hate through our examples and our efforts to help instead of harm.
To this end, the Rooster Revival started to remind Christians that Matthew 25:40 is the path to salvation, not 45. We seek to help create our future country as a country by and for the people who get to believe what they want to believe as long as they are not harming others — and strive toward policies that uplift people similar to the examples of the Scandinavian countries who are the happiest in the world.
Again, it’s the contrast people will see. WE CARE DAY gives us all a focus on helping each other and creating the country we want and are willing to work toward to end the strife of our people in the wealthiest nation in history.
Together, we can’t be shouted down by the oppressors of the poor as we come from many backgrounds, faiths and a united commonality among us in our faiths’ tenants of helping the least of us. We see and feel who is paying for the tariffs and who was telling the truth about it. Truthfulness is another highly valued common core among the great religions and together with charity both are being trampled in opposition to the tenants of each of our faiths. Each strand in our interfaith web of kindness strengthens the whole to shift the conscious of the nation from hate to great.
That is the point of our merch and WE CARE DAY. Open expressions that don’t invite a fight but instead expose what is right through our kindness toward each other.
The Kindness Movement is our uniting light. WE CARE DAY is our statement. And you — of all faiths standing together — are the flame illuminating what’s right, pushing back the night.
